Sitemap & IndexNow

Submission protocols look like they should connect you directly to AI engines. They mostly don’t. Sitemap and IndexNow ride into AI Overviews via Google’s index and into Copilot via Bing’s, and that’s the whole transmission chain — the standalone answer engines consume neither file.
